Desert Jane Accessories

SHOP

Hi, welcome!

Hi, my name is Natalie and I am a ranch wife, a mother and an earring artist. Desert Jane Accessories grew out of my love for earrings and beads. I made my first pair of earrings from items I found around the ranch house back when we lived about three hours from a town, on a cattle ranch bigger than Sacramento, CA.

The first pair of earrings I built were rough, made from a fence nail with repurposed beads wired on to it, but you have to start somewhere, right? Then I tried a cheap earring frame, didn’t like it and soon figured out how to make my own frames.

From the start of this earring adventure, I repurposed beads from my own stash of old jewelry, found old broken jewelry at antique and thrift stores and sourced new beads from locally owned shops. I eventually started getting my hands on rare vintage beads. Using repurposed, vintage and new beads sourced locally was, and still is, important. Pairing the new with the old to create fun and unique styles of earrings is my game.

Inspired by both bohemian and western styles, a new story unfolds. The earrings I create, like the women who wear them, are one-of-a-kind!  So, HOLD YOUR HEAD HIGH and enjoy creating a new story in your Desert Jane Accessories!
